2012 has been a strange year, I’ve been so busy doing the now and worrying about the future that I seem to have forgotten about all that I have achieved in this year. There are many things that I am proud of this year, here are a few:
In March I organised Eroticon, the UK’s first conference for sex bloggers and erotica writers. 90 writers, publishers, editors, folk from the sex toy industry, sex bloggers and more attended a day long conference on writing sex right. Better than the craziness of the day was finding out through the year how the event had helped writers move their careers forward. I did that.
I dug a garden out and was rewarded with vegetables from plot to plate.
I made new friends.
Most of all I’m proud of my daughter who continues to thrive and bring joy to every day of my life.
Every day I am grateful for her but sometimes I allow the worry to shadow all the other wonderful things and people in my life, so I’m going to indulge myself and list some people who have been important to me in 2012.
Every single person that attended Eroticon 2012. Thank you for believing in me.

The 12 women with whom I can say anything, I hope to get to know you all a lot better in 2013.
To my local friends Louisa, Cara & Claire, I’m thankful for your friendship and proud of your achievements.
My parents. I know seeing me struggle causes you pain, thank you for your love.
To everyone that struggles with life, please believe there is someone that cares that you carry on and please reach out to them.

Thank you Claire, I’ve got some good plans laid out for 2013 and an excellent cheer-leading squad to cheer me on and wave their pompoms at me, it should be rather fun.
